Corey Maggette for essentially the #193 pick in a 20 team league? I don't object to the trade or anything, but this seems like an absolute steal. I'm assuming you can do this Lux Tax mostly because you have depth?

I don't understand this term. Im assuming it has something to do with "hearing". If anyone knows this "Depth" guy. Please have him call me 555-KRox. Kicking Rocks All Stars definitely does not know depth.

Maggette is good for almost 20 PPG on decent percentages for a swingman, and points will not be in short supply for the run and gun warriors. gets to the line a ton on 80% plus free throws. IMO he's worth more than a late 10th round pick... but I'm not griping, don't get me wrong. By depth I meant, on Lux Tax keeper page he mentions something about having more than 8 potential keepers, ala somebody could be dealt without much harm.

Yeah, depth is a bad thing this time of year, look at my roster, I basically have to make a trade or 2 or I lose a couple good keeper quality guys.

i was being sarcastic SC. And I would have made the same deal for Maggs. Adjusted 10th round pick. I need the help. Help I don't really want. Maggs will not come close to 20PPG. Nellie will bench him for taking bad shots(signature maggs), playing outside the offense(signature maggs) and giving to give the youngsters more pt. Corey is a very very selfish player. And injury prone. Hamstring injuries always keep him out of games EVERY season. Im a Laker/Clipper fan....I know the guy. He is so yoked any little twitch affects his entire body.

well for the warriors sake, I hope their $50 million dollar man does hover close to 20 PPG. He was at 18.6 PPG (which is close) last season, 22 PPG season prior. His injury risks are the biggest problems, I completely agree to that, big risk. But he seemed to play at SF mostly for the small ball warriors, I wonder how much Ellis, Curry, Morrow will really eat into his minutes. Harrington is gone, and Crawford is now gone, just leaves SJackson and Azuibike right. How much do expect his points to drop from 18.6 PPG?.... I admit I don't watch the Warriors all that much.

for the record, I confirm the trade UConn is getting a good vet who will (in all likelihood) make his 8 keepers, and I had what I figured to be 9 potential keepers, so this definitely helps me out. Whether Maggette was my 9th or 8th best player (maybe even 7th) is open to debate, but I really feel 2.13 is a fair assessment of his value at this point in this particular league. It's possible that he might have gone mid to late 1st round had I dropped him, but Imho he's not worth what 1st rnd picks in this league are valued at. Nice to see people involved and chatting about it tho - Luxury tax
