lol, thanks. The day I trade Maggette, it's found that Ellis will be out until ~December with his surgery. Funny how things work out

I don't think Ellis being out will have as much impact on Maggette as it will on Marcus Williams.... GS was planning on moving Ellis to PG after Baron defected to LAC (a questionable move in my opinion) There's already talk of GS signing Shaun Livingstone to back-up Marcus while Ellis is out.
Marcus Williams is definitely the beneficiary here.

I've heard all that as well. I still don't have issue with the trade. Was just starting conversation really ;D. I do think Marcus has a chance to show his stuff now though. Too bad the Warriors' season basically ends before it begins..

Hey...no worries.. I never took it as sour grapes ;D... But you're right about GS... Tho I feel their season ended when Baron bailed  And Ellis being out for 3 months isn't as bad as what LAC had to deal with last year with Brand out... Ask Rabid Leper Iguanas how much he missed having Brand in his line-up It definitely sucks for Ellis... and for whoever has him in Fantasy |

Rabid is by far the unluckiest fantasy basketball manager of all time. Brand last year, Ellis this year. In another league that just drafted this season he took Ginobili, who's now talking about surgery.
He always seems to build a great team without many injury worries, but somehow suffers injuries, lol
