Final Round commentary goes here.
Since some teams are done drafting, and everyone else will be soon, here are some quick instructions as to what I'd like everyone to do when you are finished drafting and what to expect as I get the league set up on the Yahoo! page..
- When you are done drafting, please update or post your final roster on your team page. While I have the ability to correct mistakes on rosters after we set the league off, having your team listed on your team page will help me get it right the first time.
- If you have more than 14 players, please identify the 14 players you wish to have on your initial roster. Make it obvious on your team page who you want to keep. Any players beyond the first 14 will be dropped back into the free agent pool.
- As soon as I enter all the rosters and activate the league on the Yahoo! page, everyone will be free to make any changes they want to their rosters. Any players you drop will be put on waivers and placed on the Available Player List. You may initiate all trade offers using the Yahoo! trade engine and any trades that are completed that way do not have to be recorded here on this site.
- For all GM's who have fewer than 14 players, as soon as you log in to the league after it has been activated, you'll be able to sign players off the waiver wire. I will be setting waiver priority to the same order as the draft, so worse teams from last year will get waiver priority to start the year. Initial signings are subject to the 2 day waiver period in which the GM with the highest waiver priority that attempts to sign that player will get him.
- For all intents and purposes, as soon as the Yahoo! league goes live, we'll shift all conversations and activity to the Yahoo! page, and abandon the Proboards site to Archive-Land. Don't lose the link for this page tho, because we'll be back here next off-season to do this all over again.
Thanks to everyone who has logged in to the Yahoo! pages already. I noticed that Looney Tunes had changed their team name to $lap$hot, so I changed their team page to that name. If you haven't already logged into the Yahoo! page and set up your team please do so at your earliest convenience. To log in follow the instructions at this link... nbafantasykeeper.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=232. Only 3 teams haven't logged in yet.
Finally, thanks again everyone for keeping the draft running smoothly this year. Between the earlier than normal start and the fast pace you guys set, we're on schedule to be done the draft before the start of NBA training camps, which as far as I know is the earliest we've ever been ready. This gives us a lot of time to further tweak our rosters through either trade or free agency.
