Re: defaults.
There's no need to wait for me to make defaults official. In the spirit of keeping things moving, if someone notices that the drafting team's time has run out, simply post the default pick and inform the next team that they are on the clock. I'll make the default official as soon as I log in.
I know rounds 5 and 6 can drag a little, and defaults just make it worse. So please just try and keep checking in on the draft once a day and try to be aware when your pick is coming up.
For the record we're still way ahead of schedule, so I'm pretty happy. We should have no problem completing the draft before the end of September, which means we'll have all of training camp to make further roster moves and set up the league on the Yahoo site.
Thanks everyone.

I was back and forth between afflalo and jordan crawford with my fifth round pick, and I was even eyeballing arron as early as mid-third round. Hard to argue with landing a starting SG so late in the draft for brabbit. If denver moves jr smith and gets little back in terms of guard play, afflalo could have a solid year, especially because reports are that he's in better shape than ever.

Yah, actually my 4:18 was almost Afflalo. He was in it right up to the end for me. Definitely a solid pick at 5:6.
It remains to be seen if he can significantly increase his offensive numbers, and for a defensive specialist he doesn't gamble much so his steal numbers are a little low, but if he gets 5 more minutes a game this year he could potentially put up some solid numbers in the 10-12 pts, 1.6 3's made, and a steal a game range. For a 5th option guy that's pretty reasonable.
If Denver doesn't trade Smith or they get back any sort of wing talent in return, I think Afflalo's value decreases. But like I said, at 5:6 that's a risk worth taking.
