theeed, how are you feeling about Sanders this season? If Bogut isnt at full strength for the beginning of the year, you thinking he'll get good burn, or are you thinking more long-term project for him? He had impressive averages in Summer League, although I didnt know anything about him coming out of VCU. theeed's on vacation for a few days, but I know his thinking behind this so I'll proxy answer for you. He got the chance to watch most of the summer league games this year and one of the things he said to me was how impressed he was with Sanders. I think he picked Sanders mainly on that. He acknowledged to me that his situation could be better in Mil, but that he's big enough to back-up Bogut and mobile enough to back-up Gooden so he should get some minutes in his rookie campaign. Ultimately, he's thinking about the future here as he feels the definite need to get younger and more talented. I'll also add that he found the decision to draft Sanders tougher than he expected, because Udoh was still available, and he loved Udoh in college, but ultimately didn't like his situation in GS. I'm sure he'll correct me if I've mis-represented him ;D . -L-Tax

Huge difference between 2010 Top Ten and 2009. Round 1 1 - 4 Point Play - Blake Griffin (PF - LAC) 2 - M'Town Goatees - Stephen Curry (PG - GS) 3 - Showtime (formerly Team Brown) - Hasheem Thabeet (C - Mem) 4 - SC - Brandon Jennings (PG - MIL) 5 - Kicking Rocks - Tyreke Evans (PG/SG - SAC) 6 - T820 - James Harden (SG - OKC) 7 - Team Brown - Johnny Flynn (PG - MIN) 8 - hoopitup - DeMar DeRozan (SG/SF - TOR) 9 - browntown - Jordan Hill (PF/C - NY) Needed a Center and Roy Hibbert seems to fit the bill. Looking forward to seeing everyones picks. Thanks sir bastos. Your lucky you got in and changed your default, cuz he was the guy I was gonna grab.

Although I liked the stats I saw from Summer League, he wasn't on my radar too highly only because of the logjam at PF in Milwaukee. He sounds like a pretty big fella and I'll be curious to watch him play this year.

I know deep down inside there is a heart in there. Mike Miller is a solid pick for your team. I was looking at him to. But your squad is afforded picks whom are role players that don't need to be keepers. While plenty of other teams must basically hit a home run every time we come up to bat.

Passing on Mike Miller (as a keeper) was actually kind of tough for me. On that new Heat team he's going to get alot of assists, and in a league with A/TO ratio it's a huge plus as your 8th or 9th player. But given George Hill's upside (he was runner up for MIP), especially if Parker leaves SA, felt he was valuable enough to hold onto... It sucks to see Tiago Splitter go, was hoping he would some how fall to 17

Can you guys please format your draft picks. It would be a great help. Allows others to know where they stand in the draft regarding draft position.
Example.
1.12 Magic Johnson - PG - Lakers

Tiago Splitter, Hibbert, Miller and 1 other player(hasnt' been drafted yet) were running neck and neck for my draft pick.
I couldn't pull the trigger on splitter without more info. But being a San Antonio recruit almost guarantees production. If he was center eligible, which he might be, I would have easily picked him over Roy.

I had Splitter pretty high on my list as well. I'm not surprised he went as high as he did. It''l be interesting to see how he performs in his rookie campaign.

I'm definitely interested in Splitter, I'm an avid Spurs fan born and raised here in SA...
What do y'all think of picking up Hayward here at #17?
for me, it was a balance of team need (SF), playing time, and decent upside for a 20 team keeper league. A certain unnamed forward just left Utah, as did Ronnie Brewer, and Kirilenko is in a contract year, and always had a rocky relationship with Sloan. though Sloan and Jazz staff seems to like Hayward. he's very young (20 years old), solid 6'8 in height, smart, pretty tough, quick and high release on his jumper. I don't think he'll light it up nightly, do think he'll be an efficient fantasy player (maybe top-10 in FT%, with a decent FG%).

But Hayward has the benefit of a great feel for and awareness of the game. If he can learn the Jazz system I think he can flourish there. But I wouldn't expect him to have great numbers in year 1. 4PT and I disagree as to his ultimate potential, but I think he can carve out a decent career for himself. IMO, his ability to improve defensively will determine if he will ever be a true starter quality player or not. - L-Tax

My favorite sleeper this is this year is Serge Ibaka, so with the 18th pick, 4 Point Play takes the shot blocking 21 year old Serge Ibaka. M'Town is on the clock d**n! It was really hard to let him go. I was really hoping to nab him early in the second round. If OKC moves him to PF I think he'll have a great year. Otherwise I think the log jam at C is going to hurt his numbers. Tho he was the energy guy off the bench last year so it's certainly possible despite the extra bodies at C this year that he'll retain his spot in the rotation. I just think both his game and the Thunder's game might benefit from a move to PF. I'll go on record and say he's mobile enough to play PF in the west. But that may just be my opinion. ;D L-Tax

If I had gotten Hibbert earlier I probably wouldn't have considered taking another gamble at center. I will be happy if he can do what he did in the playoffs last year.
