<shakes fist impotently at 4pt>
Nice grab, 4pt.
I'm very interested in seeing who you think is worth giving up Okafor for, browntown...
Very interested...

My thoughts too, I looked through my draft board and couldn't find anyone I think would be better than Okafor, especially now that he is playing with Paul and has been healthy for a couple of years now. I have 4 centers now, but i'm sure I can find a taker somewhere

Would you people stop handing 4PP very good players for not enough in return, geez.

Would you people stop handing 4PP very good players for not enough in return, geez. Seriously. Least to you could do is get proper value in return. Instead of these blowout firesales. Rule of thumb #1: The person getting the best player in a trade is the winner. As 4PP has demonstrated repeatedly.

Yah, Trading a mid first rounder for Okafor is a no brainer for the guy getting Okafor, but I've always said that 1st round picks in this league are over valued for trade worth. 4pt was lucky enough to have the highest available pick. Thing is luck is something he doesn't need (file under... league champion 2 years running)

I could understand lux's "Magette for a second rounder" trade couple weeks back, because he was mostly cutting slack, and Maggette's on a crowded and oddly run roster.
But giving away easily your best player in Okafor for a rookie PF in Jordan Hill makes me scratch my head. I'm assuming you think highly of Hill in NYC, but even then he's playing behind Lee..... I probably would have given up the 1.04 pick for Okafor if given the clear opportunity... I mean these 1st round draft picks are about the equivalent of 11th round picks (give or take).

You guys can rip me all you want, I have a plan, which has these rookies as my foundation. As of right now no way hell is Hill worth the same value as Okafor but in a couple years his value well increase, especially with a team like NYC, all the deals I've done this season and the past is for the future.

I see where you are coming from, but you have to see it from their side, you should have gotten more, even if all you wanted was Hill. You could have gotten more for him... even if you had to wait and see where Hill went and then trade for him in a multiplayer deal. Hoopitup took the guy I wanted at 9 too.

Your plan sucks imo.
There is no way you couldn't have gotten yourself a significantly better deal for Okafor than that.
Instead you gift him to the best team in the league and make him even harder to compete with.
Thanks for nothing guy.
