right on.
this trade may seem really insignificant compared to that Amare/Jamison blockbuster of a trade, but it does help both our teams a fair amount.
bluefox, before this trade, had literally one player with C eligibility. Now he's got Noah, while not giving up much at all. now he has...
Tyrus Thomas (SF/PF) Joakim Noah (PF/C) Luis Scola (PF/C)
as for me, it was pretty much trying to capitalize on any extra assets I had, as I already have Horford/Kaman/Gasol/Perkins. and the biggest part of this deal for me is, now I could pretty much finish drafting my team by the beginning of the 4th round in the re-draft (see below)
1.04 2.04 3.04 4.02 (from Go Bulls) 4.04 4.06 (from bluefox)
extra: 6.04

I agree. This helps me to get a Center to gamble on, without losing too much in the draft, while you improve your draft position and capitalize your depth at C. Not a big move, but good for both of us.

It made perfect sense to me, considering Sc has a few player on his drop list that have some trade value IMHO.
And for the record, the small deals can sometimes have the biggest impact.
